20 Jun 2008 - Beach Rugby and more @ Weston Beach

Invitation Media are looking to raise £25,000 for good causes from this new Anglo-Welsh sporting event, so, please could you be kind enough to forward this ONE OFF e-mail to your membership, local business contacts and rugby clubs you have links with throughout the UK. Please get your younger members to get onto the brand new  Facebook Rugby Page and get them to invite their mates, and for them to invite their mates etc etc

WE HAVE KINDLY HAD SOME OF OUR COSTS MET...SO WE ARE ONLY CHARGING £15 PER PERSON PER EVENT:

Just to underline we are doing this as to encourage participation and not to become rich (as if!). We have had some costs met and so to encourage all those interested people out there, we have cut the entry fees to £15 per person, per event! (Please note that there are extra costs involved with the Cricket, Golf and Its A Knockout.) As for the charity side, well, there is still a great reliance on your personal fundraising for goals scored etc...but we are still donating 10% of sport and 25% of ents profits.

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS FRIDAY 23RD MAY

Just helps us know how many are coming etc

Ranging from the beach to the playing field, the weekend of June 20th to June 22nd, will see various locations in Weston-super-Mare host a big sporting and social festival, which is being staged to determine, amongst a whole host of other reasons, which town is “Britain’s Top Sporting Town”. The Beach Rugby is part of the National Beach Rugby tour, and are hosting the event on Friday 20th June which will be raising money for their chosen charity. So, if you and your work colleagues fancy a few parties, even trying your hand a few other sports (and get your boss to pay), then please forward this e-mail and get people to visit www.westsporters.com .

If you are on Facebook; please join the event page (type The Business Games) and please INVITE ALL YOUR FRIENDS who maybe interested in both the social and sporting aspects of the weekend. Those students amongst you, please note we anticipate that firms will use the group pages to attract (and pay for) ringers to their team, so join groups and invite your friends.

You could start with the Facebook Rugby Page.
